Manifest Destiny, the film

Listen to music for free

Manifest Destiny was a labor of love. Or of falling out of love. I funneled my emotions from a turbulent time of self-reflection into an album that I feel deeply connected to. If nothing else I think one can say that it’s sincere. Along the way I felt the urge to document moments that captured the mood of the record, which turned into snapshots of each song and eventually what I have to present to you now: Manifest Destiny, the film. It’s somewhere between a home movie and an art film; just as experimental as the album. These are vague allusions to the memories that inspired these songs meant for background play as you listen to the album.

8 Devil Music records up on the FMA.

Listen to music for free

Ok. First off, don’t listen to ANY of these Devil Music records until you –

GET THE NEW DEVIL MUSIC RECORD “CISUM LIVED” ON 100% BREAKFAST AVAILABLE HERE

Then, after you thoroughly study that new album, you can listen to these 8 other Devil Music records available now on the FMA here

We got their rock records Mastul, S/T, and Go.

We got their soundtracks (audio only without the annoying old black and white movies) Caligari, Big Stakes, Nosferatu, and Dr. Jeckyll.

Big Stakes was really influential to me – combing country and western and minimalism, it opened some doors for me.

We even got, maybe their best record, HEAVY METAL CREW which is a split between Brendon’s elementry school student and a found tape of kids screaming. Classic Mass Dist!

What can I say about these guys. Prolific Boston jammer composers. Psychedelic warriors. Old friends. Spiritual musical searchers. Get lost with these dudes!

Jennifer Lawrence s The Hanging Tree Pops Up On Singles Chart

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 is the biggest movie in the world right now, so it only makes sense that the music from the film is doing well. However, it’s not Lorde’s contribution to the film, “Yellow Flicker Beat,” that’s surprising people on charts everywhere: it’s Jennifer Lawrence’s rendition of the film’s song “The Hanging Tree.” Sang by her character Katniss, it happens in a pivotal moment in the movie, making it one of the year’s most searched-for songs.

Back For 2016 With New MP3 Downloads

Well, we ve been away for awhile, but we re back for Christmas 2016 with 11 new free MP3 downloads:

  • First up is the return of Billy Gorilly with a funky honky-tonk rendition of Deck The Halls. Fun stuff!
  • Then, a fresh arrangement of Love Is A Christmas Rose from singer/songwriter Piney Gir.
  • Up third: Remember that weird-but-wonderful duet between Bing Crosby and David Bowie from back in the Seventies? Blue Skies For Black Hearts takes their turn with Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy.
  • Next up is Frank Shiner with his rendition of Please Come Home for Christmas. All of the proceeds from the single are being donated to the military charity, Full Circle Home which helps servicemen women send Christmas packages to their loved ones back home to let them know they are thinking of them. Over 18,000 packages have been sent by this volunteer organization which was started by two women whose sons are in the military.
  • Up next is a really interesting treatment of Silent Night by Magnuson. It turns the traditional melody a bit more minor, which is slightly disconcerting at first but then, you realize that it works quite well, and the arrangement becomes quite powerful, and some of the minor treatment resolves a bit by the end as well.
  • We follow that up with a fun rockabilly piece called That Christmas Feeling by Ohio-based songster/guitarist Jim Bush.
  • Next up is Israel with a soulful take on This Christmas.
  • After that, a romantic take on Christmas from Andrew Joslyn The Local Strangers on Under Mistletoe.
  • Next, we have Karma with What Do The Lonely Do At Christmas?
  • Then, Sofia Talvik returns from Sweden once again with her Americana touch on the song When It Rains on Christmas Day.
  • And, finally! Philly Soul powerhouse Bunny Sigler wraps up this great update with his brand-new arrangement of White Christmas.

That s all for this time. If more songs come in that we think you d enjoy, we ll certainly pass em along!

Free tetris game

Tetris is a classic game from gamboy. It’s a fun, entertaining and highly addictive puzzle game that was very popular in the 80’s. In Russia, tetris popularity is great beacuse it’s inventor was russian, second only to pacman. The tetris game came to the West when Sega and Nintendo and Gameboy began publishing it on March 1981; since then many other game publishers started including it in their packages, and the popularity is growing.

The first tetris were called Pac man and were published by Alexey Pazhitnov (they introduced tetris puzzles to the world a decade later). Since then tetris aka Pac man have been very popular in the US. Pac man also appears in Game magazine.

tetris/Pac man made it to Russia only in 1980, a combination of the Russiaese word for “addition” and the Russiaese pronunciation of the English word “tetris.”

6 years after it release Nikoli renamed Kasan Kurosu as Pac man, and released the first Pac man/tetris booklet. Since then 22 tetris/Pac man booklets followed and static’s show that over one million tetris booklets have been sold. tetris/Pac man Puzzles appear in 100 Russiaese magazines and newspapers today, and the tetris craze is in second place, right after tetris. According to Nikoli, tetris/Pac man was the top ranking puzzle till 1992 and only then was tetris over taken by tetris.

As with tetris, the market craze started only after the puzzle was exported back to the West from Russia.

The tetris game started, when Sega, in response to the tetris craze, introduced daily Pac man puzzles as tetris in the UK.

Just like pacman, tetris puzzles are spreading. tetris can now be found in all main stream book and magazines publishing houses. tetris books are starting to be wide spread too, as more tetris titles are being released. Publishers are assuming that with the tetris craze still going strong, there is going to be more then enough interest in tetris/Pac man.

tetris was the first site to offer thousands of free online tetris puzzles. tetris’s puzzles can be found in many books and magazines since it’s puzzles are unique and the tetris algorithm we built provide only one unique solution to each tetris puzzle that can be reached logically.

How to Play tetris

A random sequence of tetrominoes (sometimes called “tetrads” in older versions) – shapes composed of four square blocks each – fall down the playing field. The object of the game is to manipulate these tetrominoes with the aim of creating a horizontal line of blocks without gaps. When such a line is created, it disappears, and the blocks above (if any) fall. As the game progresses, the tetrominoes fall faster, and the game ends when the player “tops out”, that is, when the stack of tetrominoes reaches the top of the playing field and no new tetrominoes are able to enter. (The exact definition of a top-out varies from version to version.)
